The Peas came to us as transfers from our rescue partners at All4Paws Okanogan. Their mama was a stray that was taken in by a family trying to help but the family found themselves being evicted from their home and surrendered the pups to find homes of their own. Though originally a litter of 9, three were adopted through All4Paws leaving 6 Peas to travel South to us. These gentle giants were born 3/26/26 and are already quite large. They are lab/mastiff mixes and all exhibit wonderful personalities in their foster homes.
Penelope and her big bro, Prince are with an amazing foster family and having the best time! They are being introduced to all kinds of adventures including trips to the river, learning to live with the chickens, cats and other dogs in the home, and loving the kids of various ages in the house. Foster Mom reports that they are very sweet and "SO smart!"
Peyton is loving life with a gem of a foster home! She gets to enjoy having a very big fur-brother and a human sister to play with, goats to inspect and plenty of room to explore. After just a few days, her foster said:
"In just a short while, she understands correction, she waits for her food, is kennel trained, enjoys playing with our cat, sticks around even though we have no fences and she already stands at point and will be an excellent retriever!"

Finding Finnegan is a 501(c)(3) Washington Nonprofit Corporation based in Wenatchee. It was started to help try to fill the need in the area as more and more rescues and shelters are finding themselves well over-capacity with stray and unwanted dogs and puppies. It was named after one of the founders, Ms. Kate’s fosters, Finnegan (top middle), who was adopted by her parents and now lives a charmed life with his fur-brother, Charley, in Arizona.
Ms. Kate began fostering for the local Humane Society in 2018 and expanded to foster for multiple rescue agencies and shelters in the neighboring areas before starting Finding Finnegan to be able to directly rescue puppies in need.Â
